If you have never sold a home before, or it has been a while since you last did, the process can feel like a bit of a mystery. What actually happens between the day you decide to list and the day you hand over the keys? The Classic Team walks every client through this process step by step. Here is a straightforward overview of what to expect.
Step 1: The Home Evaluation
It starts with understanding what your home is worth in today's market. Angela will visit your home, walk through it with you, review recent comparable sales in your area, and recommend a listing price designed to attract strong offers. This evaluation is free and comes with zero obligation.
Step 2: Getting Ready to List
Once you have a price and a plan, it is time to prepare the home. This typically includes decluttering, cleaning, making any agreed-upon touch-ups, and staging the home for photos. The Classic Team will guide you through exactly what to prioritize so you are not wasting time or money.
Step 3: Photos, Listing, and Going Live
Professional photos are taken, your listing is written and reviewed with you, and then your home goes live on MLS and across all marketing channels. This is an exciting moment, and the team will be right there with you.
Step 4: Showings and Feedback
Buyers and their agents start scheduling showings. Angela will keep you updated on showing activity and share feedback from buyers so you always have a clear picture of how the market is responding to your home.
